HOW IT WORKS

The Butler Women’s Volleyball auction will be comprised of Two(2) 1-week long auctions.  Each auction will start Monday mornings at 9:00 a.m. EST and end the following Sunday at 9:00 p.m. EST.

The auctions will run as follows:
Week 1      October 1-10
Week 2      October 11-17

To bid on the items you must first REGISTER a unique email address.  Once your account has been activated, you will be able to bid on any of the items.

After placing a bid on an item, you will receive an email alert in the event you are outbid.  This will include a link to submit a new bid if you wish to continue bidding.

At the conclusion of the weekly auction, winners will be notified the following Monday morning and details regarding payment and delivery will be provided.

Winners will need to make arrangements to pick up their items at Butler University or can arrange to have the item shipped. Winners are responsible for all shipping costs.

You are also able to enter a “not to exceed bid” which is higher than the listed maximum bid.  This allows you to list the highest amount you are willing to go, but it will only move the bid up the minimum increment.  For example if you are willing to bid up to $1000 for an item and the current bid is $500, the bid would only increase to the next highest increment (all items have different minimum increments).  Therefore if the minimum increment is $25 the current bid would show $525.  If nobody were to bid on this item you would only have to pay $525.  Should any other bidders increase the bid it would automatically let them know they have been outbid until they exceed your “not to exceed bid.”
